Dishonest grant study sent to former Secretary of the U.S. Department of TransportationOpposition to the trail due to Environmental Hazards. Dangers placed on the Ecosystem. Violation of habitats for animals, plants, birds, reptiles, and aquatic life. Lack of acknowledgement of the Person County Sappony Indians. The destruction of private property without input of those affected. Lack of safety–increase in crime–without concern or consideration for property owners ONE SOLUTION–a 501 Trail could be created away from residential areas
